Hi, I’m Max!

I specialise in temporary and interim appointments within the public sector. I typically recruit for HR and workforce development positions throughout local authorities across the UK. Whether you’re a Head of HR looking for a new role or you’re a local authority requiring the support of a HR professional, I’m here to help. 

I began my career working as a Sales Executive in 2019 before transitioning into real estate where I spent three years valuing and selling houses. I was then looking for a new challenge so I transitioned into the world of recruitment, covering a vast array of specialisms including HR, procurement, operations, sales and administration. In 2025 I joined Spencer Clarke Group! 

I thrive in the fast-paced world of recruitment and take pride in finding candidates opportunities that align with their skillset and ambitions. In 2025 we were named Best Public/Third Sector Recruitment Agency at the Recruiter Awards. I really think this is a reflection on the outstanding relationships we’ve built with local authorities across the UK.  

As I continue to grow with Spencer Clarke Group, my aim is to support the expansion of the HR market within the business. I don’t think there’s a better company to grow in, the support here is second to none and professional development is a priority across all teams. 

In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, watching football and going out with my friends.
