Hi, I’m Safah! 

I’m a Lead Consultant at Spencer Clarke Group, where I support local authorities, across Lancashire the North East and North Yorkshire, with experienced Tutors for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. 

My interest in education began while studying politics at university, where I developed the ambition to support young people. As a result, this led me into a career in tutoring.

I then joined a recruitment agency where I supported local authorities by delivering and coordinating tailored tuition for students who required additional support. This role gave me extensive experience working with vulnerable learners and understanding the challenges faced by schools and local authorities.

At Spencer Clarke Group, I work closely with local authorities, SENCOs, and Senior Leaders to find and provide high quality Tutors. These Tutors deliver bespoke tuition and mentoring to vulnerable students, ensuring their individual educational needs are met. 

I find it incredibly rewarding matching the right Tutor to the right student, especially when that support can genuinely change a young person’s educational journey. I also enjoy building relationships with professionals, problem solving and working in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same. 

Providing SEND learners with bespoke tuition is very personal to me as I have a background in teaching vulnerable pupils and my nephew is autistic.

At Spencer Clarke Group, I enjoy building strong, trusted relationships with clients and Tutors while making a meaningful contribution to the education sector. My goal is to continue expanding the reach and quality of support provided to vulnerable learners, while also developing my own expertise within recruitment and education. 

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, shopping and trying out new food places!
