Hi, I'm Sophie!

I specialise in health & social care recruitment across the Midlands, Yorkshire, Wales and Manchester. I also work in partnership with children and adults residential homes across both the private sector and public sector. My remit covers a wide range of roles, from Registered Managers to Day Support Workers.  

Spencer Clarke Group is a great place for me because I'm a people person who loves to help others. Connecting professionals to a new career opportunity is one of the best parts of the job, especially in a sector where they play such a significant role in society. 

I studied Health and social care at college, where I proudly achieved a Double Distinction Star. Following this, I pursued a degree in Early Childhood Studies at Liverpool John Moores University and then began my career as an Early Years Practitioner. I enjoyed this role but realised I wanted to broaden my career path and apply my skills in a different way. That’s when I found Spencer Clarke Group. 

I love working across the social care sector. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact a Social Worker can have on a family or how a Residential Support Worker can provide stability for a young person. 

In 2025, we were over the moon to be named Best Public/Third Sector Recruitment Agency at the Recruiter Awards.

Outside of work, I love pilates - it’s a great way to unwind after a busy week!
