Daily Rate: £110 per day

We are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Additional Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Blackpool. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working Monday to Friday during term time.

About the Role:

You will support pupils with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing needs and learning difficulties. Some pupils need one to one support, others work best in small, nurturing groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with additional needs in class and in small groups
• Follow individual support plans and EHCP targets
• Use visual aids, sensory strategies and adapted resources
• Support personal care and independence skills where needed
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCo and families

Who We're Looking For:

We would love to hear from people who have supported children or adults with additional needs, such as:

• SEN Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants
• Support workers in care or supported living
• Nursery practitioners with SEND experience
• Graduates with an interest in SEND or psychology

You must be:

• Compassionate and understanding of every child's needs
• Patient when progress comes in small steps
• Observant so you notice what each pupil needs
• Dependable and consistent day to day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
