Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Allocations and Verifications Officer for a local authority in Southwest London.
In this role, you will assess and verify housing applications, allocate social housing properties, manage lettings through choice-based lettings.
Duties:
- Assess and verify housing applications in line with Lambeth's Allocations Scheme.
- Advertise properties, shortlist applicants and make housing offers.
- Liaise with housing associations and social housing providers.
- Maintain accurate records, data and reports on housing allocations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in housing allocations, lettings or housing needs.
- Experience assessing and verifying housing applications.
- Experience using choice-based lettings or housing management systems.
- Experience working with tenants, housing associations and other providers.
What's on offer:
Salary: £30ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
