We are looking for an Alternative Provision Teacher to join our dedicated team.
You will work with young people who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education and require a more personalised, supportive approach to learning. You will build positive relationships with pupils, identify their individual needs and provide engaging lessons that help them develop academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across relevant subjects.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and provide consistent support.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning and behavioural needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Support pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents/carers and external professionals.
- Promote high expectations for behaviour, attendance and achievement.
- Support pupils in preparing for qualifications, further education, training or employment.

- A qualified teacher or experienced educator with relevant teaching experience.

- DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
