We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tribunals Case Officer to join our Local Authority client in the South East on a fully remote basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND professional with a strong Local Authority background, in-depth knowledge of statutory EHCP processes and substantial SEND Tribunal experience.
- Minimum 12 months' experience working in a similar role within a Local Authority, ideally with longer experience covering the full statutory process.
- Proven, hands-on experience managing SEND Tribunal appeals and preparing cases for hearing.
- Experience managing or working across 250+ cases/caseloads, with the ability to confidently discuss previous caseloads and responsibilities
Duties include:
- Manage a caseload of SEND Tribunal appeals from receipt through to preparation for hearing
- Review, prepare and coordinate responses to Tribunal appeals, ensuring all submissions are accurate, comprehensive and evidence-based
- Gather and coordinate professional advice, supporting evidence and relevant case documentation
