Catering Assistant

Location: Liverpool
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced Catering Assistant to work within a school in Liverpool.

The successful candidate will support the school catering team in preparing and serving meals, maintaining high standards of food hygiene, and ensuring the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe and organised.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.

• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas.

• Washing dishes, utensils and catering equipment.

• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures.

• Supporting the catering team to ensure an efficient meal service.

Essential Requirements

• Previous catering or relevant food service experience is essential.

• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is essential.

• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.

• A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
