EHCP Phase Manager

• EHCP Phase Manager- South Yorkshire Local Authority
• £400 - £500 per day
• 3-6 month initial contract
• 1 day per week on site ideally

We are seeking an EHCP Phase Manager to work with our Local Authority client in South Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be required to lead and support quality assurance within the service and play a pivotal role in ensuring statutory duties ate delivered effectively. This includes supporting teams to manage complex cases and working closely with families and professionals to provide positive outcomes and contribute to the ongoing development of the service.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience of line management within Local Authority SEND.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation, policies and statutory duties.
• Must have experience representing at hearings and also chairing mediation meetings
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

Duties include:

• Lead and support a SEND team, ensuring high-quality practice and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Oversee complex EHCP processes, including assessments, reviews, and plan development.
• Work with families, schools, and partners to deliver effective SEND support and resolve complex issues.
