Family Partner - North East LA

£16.62 per hour PAYE

3-6 month contract - view of extension

We are now looking for a Family Partner to join our Local Authority clients Social Work Assessment Team and play a vital role in making a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families. We are looking for someone who is passionate about children's welfare, values the voices of children and young people, and understands the importance of building trusting relationships with families.

Essential Requirements:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare, health, education, community work, youth work or a related field.
• Experience of working with children, young people and their families.
• Experience of partnership working with families, wider support networks and professionals from different services.

Duties include:

• Work directly with children, young people and families to assess needs, identify strengths and provide appropriate support.
• Promote the voice, wishes and feelings of children and young people, ensuring their needs remain central to all work undertaken.
• Support families to make positive changes, improve outcomes and build on their existing strengths and support networks.
