• £15.31 per hour PAYE
• 3-6 month contract - Highly likely to be extended

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families? Do you have experience supporting vulnerable children and families, with a commitment to ensuring children feel safe, supported and listened to?

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Family Time Worker to join our Local Authority Clients Children's Social Care team.

Key Duties:

• Supervise family time sessions between Children in Our Care and their families, ensuring contact is safe, positive and child-focused.
• Observe and record interactions, identifying any concerns or positive progress and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Transport children and family members to and from family time arrangements, sometimes travelling outside the Gateshead area.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, providing information and reports to support meetings, reviews and care planning.
• Work closely with social workers, families and other professionals to support the best possible outcomes for children.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding procedures, professional boundaries and information-sharing guidance.
• Keep up to date with legislation, research and best practice relating to children and families.
• Contribute to team working, service development and Ofsted inspections where appropriate.
