Family Time Worker- West Midlands

£17.75 per hour PAYE

Our Local Authority cline in the West Midlands is looking for two Family Time Workers to join their Children's Services team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and families during important family time arrangements, helping to ensure that every interaction is safe, positive and centred on the child's needs

• A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, or substantial relevant experience working with children and families.
• Experience supporting children, young people and families in a professional setting.
• Strong communication and observation skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate written reports

Duties include:

• Supervising and facilitating family time in line with children's care plans, ensuring their safety, welfare and emotional needs remain paramount.
• Providing emotional and practical support to children, parents and family members during family time sessions.
• Offering guidance, feedback and coaching to parents to promote positive parenting and age-appropriate interactions.
