Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Complaints and Enquiries Officer for a local authority in East London.
In this role, you will manage and resolve housing disrepair complaints, working with residents, contractors and colleagues to investigate issues and deliver fair, timely outcomes.
Duties:
- Manage and investigate Stage 1 housing disrepair complaints.
- Liaise with residents, contractors and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Draft clear, accurate complaint responses and recommendations.
- Handle wider housing enquiries, Members' Enquiries, FOIs and SARs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience handling housing complaints, particularly housing disrepair cases.
- Experience managing complex caseloads and customer enquiries.
- Experience investigating issues, gathering evidence and analysing information.
- Experience writing formal responses and working with residents, contractors and stakeholders.
What's on offer:
Salary: £32ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
