Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Options & Advice Worker for a local authority in Bedford.
In this role, you will assess residents' housing needs, provide advice and guidance, and work proactively to prevent and relieve homelessness across the Borough.
Duties:
- Assess residents' housing needs and circumstances to determine their eligibility for assistance.
- Provide housing advice and guidance to prevent and relieve homelessness.
- Develop personalised housing plans and explore suitable accommodation options.
- Work with partner agencies to support vulnerable residents and achieve positive housing outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in housing advice, homelessness prevention or housing assessment.
- Experience managing cases and assessing individual needs and circumstances.
- Experience supporting vulnerable people facing housing or personal difficulties.
- Experience working with partner agencies to identify solutions and deliver support.
What's on offer:
Salary: £44ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
