ICT Teacher - Long Term Placement

Spencer Clarke Group Education are currently recruiting for an ICT Teacher to join a secondary school in Darlington, starting ASAP on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed ICT Teacher to join a supportive secondary school and make a real impact on students' learning and progress.

You will be responsible for:

• Teaching ICT/Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Supporting students to develop their digital and technical skills
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the department
• Contributing to the wider life of the school

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• QTS or recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching ICT, Computing or Computer Science within a secondary school
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for technology and education
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A commitment to delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
