Daily Rate: £110 per day

We are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wirral. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working Monday to Friday during term time.

About the Role:

You will work in a welcoming primary school on the Wirral, supporting the class teacher, leading small group interventions and helping pupils grow in confidence across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead small group and one to one interventions in reading, writing and maths
• Support the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons
• Cover the class under the teacher's direction when needed
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL
• Track progress and feed back to the teacher

Who We're Looking For:

This role suits experienced support staff, such as:

• Holders of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experienced Teaching Assistants in primary schools
• HLTAs looking for flexible work
• Phonics trained support staff (desirable)

You must be:

• Skilled in delivering interventions
• Proactive and happy to use your initiative
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Supportive of pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
