Daily Rate: £105 to £110 per day
Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting a Medical Support Assistant for a school in Garstang. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working Monday to Friday during term time, supporting pupils with medical and personal care needs so they can take a full part in school life.

About the Role:

You will work closely with the class teacher, the SENDCo and the school nursing team to deliver care plans for individual pupils. Full training is given for any specific procedures, so previous school experience is useful but not essential if you have a care background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with medical needs in line with their individual care plans
• Assisting with personal care and mobility where needed
• Administering medication once trained and signed off
• Keeping accurate records and reporting any changes promptly
• Supporting pupils in class so they do not miss out on learning

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in care, healthcare or a school support role
• A calm, patient and discreet approach
• Good communication with pupils, staff and families
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one
• Reliability and the ability to follow a care plan precisely

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
