Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Move-On & Resettlement Officer for a local authority in South London.
In this role, you will support households living in temporary accommodation to secure sustainable, longer-term housing and successfully resettle into their new communities.
*Duties: *
- Support households in temporary accommodation to secure sustainable, longer-term housing.
- Negotiate with landlords and agents to source and secure Private Rented Sector properties.
- Manage move-on cases, providing advice on tenancy readiness, affordability and resettlement.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to support successful and sustainable outcomes.
*Qualifications and Experience: *
- Experience supporting vulnerable households with housing and resettlement needs.
- Experience securing and negotiating Private Rented Sector accommodation.
- Experience managing a varied caseload and maintaining accurate case records.
- Experience working with landlords, agents and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes.
What's on offer:
Salary: £30ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
