Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Personal Advisor for a local authority in North London.
In this role, you will support care leavers to develop independence, access education, training, employment and suitable accommodation, and successfully transition into adulthood.
Duties:
- Develop and review pathway plans to support care leavers' individual needs and goals.
- Support young people to access housing, benefits, education, training and employment.
- Work with families and partner agencies to safeguard young people and promote their wellbeing.
- Manage a caseload, maintain accurate records and help young people develop independent living skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience supporting care leavers, young people or vulnerable adults to achieve positive outcomes.
- Experience developing support plans and assessing individual needs.
- Experience working with partner agencies to safeguard young people and coordinate services.
- Experience managing a caseload, maintaining accurate records and supporting independent living.
What's on offer:
Salary: £25ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
