Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Daily Rate: £150 to £230 per day, dependent on experience

About the Role:

Most of this work is day to day and short term cover, so you will be walking into different schools and picking things up quickly. Plans are usually left for you. If you would rather settle in one place, say so and we will look for something longer instead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering the work left by the class teacher
• Keeping the class settled and on task
• Following each school's behaviour and safeguarding procedures
• Leaving a clear handover at the end of the day
• Working with the teaching assistants in the room

What We Are Looking For:

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Primary experience across any year group
• Someone who can walk in cold and get a class working
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one
• Reliability, because schools book you in advance

What You Will Receive:

• £150 to £230 per day, dependent on experience
• Work on the days that suit you, paid weekly
• A consultant who knows the Blackburn and Darwen schools
• Free ongoing CPD and safeguarding training
• A refer a friend scheme

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
