Daily Rate: £130 to £232 per day, depending on experience

We are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Preston. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working Monday to Friday during term time.

About the Role:

You will take responsibility for your own class, planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team and will have the resources and backing you need to do the job properly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering high quality lessons across the primary curriculum
• Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
• Creating a positive, well managed classroom where every child can learn
• Working with teaching assistants to support pupils with additional needs
• Building constructive relationships with parents and the wider school team

Who We're Looking For:

We welcome applications from experienced Primary Teachers, ECTs looking for a supportive first post, and overseas trained teachers with QTS or working towards it.
You must have:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum
• Confident behaviour management and clear classroom routines
• High expectations of every pupil you teach
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
