Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Daily Rate: £150 to £230 per day, dependent on experience
Looking for a longer term classroom of your own rather than a different school every morning? Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting a Primary Teacher for a school in Walton-le-Dale where the need is for consistency, with placements running from half a term through to the end of the year.

About the Role:

You will take a class as your own, pick up the planning where the previous teacher left off and keep the children moving forward. The school has a stable staff team and a leadership group that is clear about what it wants, so you will know where you stand from the first week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching a full timetable across the primary curriculum
• Marking, assessment and reporting in line with school policy
• Setting and holding consistent expectations for behaviour
• Directing the work of teaching assistants in your classroom
• Contributing to the wider life of the school while you are there

What We Are Looking For:

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Primary classroom experience, with ECTs welcome
• The organisation to run a class over a sustained period
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one
• Commitment to see a placement through to its agreed end

What You Will Receive:

• £150 to £230 per day, dependent on experience
• Longer term placements rather than day to day uncertainty

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
