Spencer Clarke Group are supporting a local authority to appoint a Project Officer within Housing and Landlord Services (Asset Management / Planned Maintenance).

This role supports a programme responding to housing disrepair and condition-related claims. You will investigate letters of claim and complaints, pull together evidence from multiple systems, build clear timelines, and draft thorough responses through the Council's internal complaints process.

Responsibilities include
* Review letters of claim and related documents to identify the key allegations and issues
* Investigate cases using housing management, repairs, asset management and customer service records
* Compile evidence, establish accurate timelines, and ensure case files are complete and well documented
* Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to gather information and clarify events
* Draft clear, factual, evidence-based responses within agreed deadlines
* Identify themes and learning points to support service improvements where appropriate

About you
* Experience in complaints handling, investigations, casework or similar complex customer/resident matters
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse records and present findings clearly
* Confident written communication skills, including drafting formal responses and summaries
* Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to tight timescales
* Exposure to social housing, repairs, landlord services or asset management is beneficial
