Registered Manager

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Registered Manager for a client based in Barnet.

In this role, you will lead the team, ensuring high-quality care and a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people.

Duties:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the children's residential home.
• Ensure children receive safe, high-quality, child-centred care and support.
• Lead, motivate and develop the staff team, promoting a positive team culture.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies and relevant legislation.
• Manage staff rotas, recruitment, supervision and performance.
• Take part in on-call duties and provide management cover when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience managing or leading a children's residential care home.
• Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• Proven experience leading, supervising and developing residential care staff.
• Experience maintaining Ofsted standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing staffing rotas, performance and day-to-day operational needs.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and care planning.

What's on offer:

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (plus a bonus scheme)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
