Hours: 30 hours per week (41 weeks per year)
Working pattern: Flexible - early mornings or evenings after 4:30pm

Aurora Linemere is an exciting brand-new school opening in January 2027, and we're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic School Cleaner to join our team and help us get everything ready for our very first pupils!
Aurora Linemere will provide a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious learning environment for children and young people aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our school at the start of its journey and play an important part in creating a positive environment where every pupil feels safe, supported and able to thrive.

What will you be doing?

As part of our Estates team, you'll help keep our school looking its best by:

• 
  Cleaning classrooms, offices, toilets, corridors and communal areas.
• 
  Vacuuming, mopping and maintaining floors.
• 
  Dusting, wiping and sanitising furniture, fixtures and surfaces.
• 
  Emptying bins and replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies.
• 
  Following daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
• 
  Using cleaning products and equipment safely, following COSHH and health and safety guidance.
• 
  Reporting any maintenance issues, defects or potential hazards.

Previous cleaning experience, particularly within a school or special educational needs setting, would be an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
