School Cleaner

Location: Wirral
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Hours: 12.5 hours per week
Job Type: Part-time
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team at a school on the Wirral.
The successful candidate must have previous cleaning experience and a valid DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• 
  Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
• 
  Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• 
  Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities.
• 
  Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish.
• 
  Wiping and sanitising desks, surfaces and touchpoints.
• 
  Ensuring the school is clean, tidy and hygienic.
• 
  Following all health and safety and safeguarding procedures.

Essential Requirements

• 
  Previous professional cleaning experience is essential.
• 
  A valid DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service is essential.
• 
  Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
• 
  Good attention to detail.
• 
  Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• 
  Committed to maintaining a safe and clean school environment.

  All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
