A commitment to delivering high-quality, personalised education for pupils with additional needs.
A good understanding of effective teaching, assessment and curriculum planning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
A patient, flexible and creative approach to meeting individual needs.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Previous experience teaching pupils with special educational needs, particularly autism.
Experience adapting lessons and resources to support a range of learning abilities.
Knowledge of strategies that support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
The salary for this position is £34,069 - £50,956 per annum (M1-UPS2), depending on qualifications and experience.
You'll also have the opportunity to benefit from a supportive working environment and a range of employee benefits, which may include:
Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Access to training and funded learning opportunities.
Enhanced annual leave, company sick pay and enhanced pension benefits.
