Are you passionate about helping young people build confidence, overcome challenges and recognise their own potential?
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a brand-new specialist SEND school in Chaldon, Surrey, supporting young people aged 11-16 who require support with social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing, typically associated with Autism.
With small class sizes, high staff-to-student ratios and a multi-disciplinary approach, the school provides a supportive environment where every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, proactive individual who can think outside the box, bring learning to life and help young people develop both academically and personally.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum. More importantly, you will play a key role in helping young people develop confidence, resilience and independence.

No two days will necessarily be the same, so flexibility, creativity and a can-do attitude are essential.
You don't need to be an experienced Teaching Assistant to be successful in this role. If you have the right values, attitude and approach, you will be provided with the support and training needed to develop your skills.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Previous experience isn't essential. You will have access to a range of free training and development opportunities, including the opportunity to work towards a Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools if you have not already achieved this.
This makes the role an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a rewarding career in specialist education.
This is more than a Teaching Assistant role. It's an opportunity to become a trusted adult in a young person's life, helping them develop the confidence, skills and resilience they need for their future.
If you're creative, compassionate, proactive and passionate about helping young people succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now to be part of an exciting new specialist school and make a genuine difference every day.
