Senior School Improvement Lead - South West Local Authority

£530 Per day

Contract until 31st January 2027

Hybrid working - Office attendance is only required on occasion

We are seeking an experienced education leader to join our Local Authority client in the Sout West as a School Improvement Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of education by leading on improvement strategy and ensuring all children and young people have access to high quality education.

Essential Requirements:

• Significant senior leadership experience within schools or the education sector
• Extensive knowledge of the education system, curriculum and accountability framework

A strong track record of leading school improvement and raising educational standards

Duties include:

• Oversee interventions for schools causing concern, ensuring statutory processes are followed and acting as the Local Authority lead with Ofsted where required
• Contribute to strategic planning and the continuous development of education services across the Local Authority
• Provide leadership and challenge to schools and academies to improve educational standards and outcomes
