Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a TA Visiting Officer for a local authority in Berkshire.
In this role, you will inspect temporary accommodation, assess suitability and ensure vulnerable households are safe and supported.
Duties:
- Conduct regular temporary accommodation property inspections.
- Assess property suitability and identify safety concerns.
- Engage with residents and identify safeguarding issues.
- Maintain accurate records and report potential housing fraud.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working within housing or homelessness services.
- Experience conducting property visits and inspections.
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals and families.
- Experience assessing accommodation suitability and identifying risks.
What's on offer:
Salary: £30ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
