Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Spencer Clarke Group is working with a secondary school in Rochdale to recruit a passionate and committed Teacher of Food Technology to join their team from January 2027.

Your Role

As a Teacher of Food Technology, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop their practical skills, creativity, subject knowledge and understanding of food preparation and nutrition.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, maintaining high expectations and contributing positively to the wider department and school community.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Food Technology curriculum
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical and inclusive lessons
• A commitment to raising student attainment and achievement
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
• The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive department
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
