Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Temporary Accommodation Officer for a local authority in Southwest London.
In this role, you will manage temporary accommodation, support vulnerable residents, work with landlords and providers, and help households move on to suitable settled accommodation.
Duties:
- Allocate and manage temporary accommodation placements.
- Support residents to move on to suitable settled accommodation.
- Monitor property standards, repairs, complaints and tenancy issues.
- Liaise with landlords, providers and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in housing, homelessness or temporary accommodation services.
- Experience managing a caseload and supporting vulnerable residents.
- Experience working with landlords, accommodation providers and external partners.
- Experience handling complaints, tenancy issues, property concerns and move-on cases.
What's on offer:
Salary: £216 per day
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
