We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and resilient Unqualified SEN & SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Preston, working with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
As an SEN & SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to provide tailored support to pupils who may struggle with learning, emotional regulation, behaviour, communication, or social interaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
You do not need to be qualified or have previous school-based experience. The right attitude and personality are far more important.
We would love to hear from candidates who are:
Previous experience with SEN, SEMH, challenging behaviour, care, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, residential care or similar environments is desirable but not essential.
