Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work across primary and specialist schools on the Wirral. You do not need a qualification or classroom experience. What the schools care about is whether you can build a relationship with a child who is finding school hard.
What the role involves

• Supporting pupils one to one and in small groups across the school day
• Helping the class teacher keep lessons moving
• Working with pupils who have additional needs in specialist settings
• Supporting at break, lunch and on trips
• Preparing resources and keeping the classroom tidy and ready

Who we want to hear from

• Anyone from childcare, nursery, youth work, sports coaching, care or retail
• Graduates considering teaching who want to see a classroom first
• Career changers who want school hours and school holidays
• People with patience, common sense and a bit of resilience
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
