Spencer Clarke Group is recruiting enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary schools across Blackpool from September.
You do not need a formal Teaching Assistant qualification. We are interested in applicants who have experience supporting children or young people through childcare, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, care work, mentoring or volunteering.

The Role

You will support the class teacher and help pupils to engage with their learning. Duties may include:

• 
  Supporting pupils individually and in small groups
• 
  Helping with reading, phonics, writing and mathematics
• 
  Supporting children with SEND or additional needs
• 
  Encouraging positive behaviour and confidence
• 
  Preparing classroom resources
• 
  Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
