Daily Rate: £105 to £110 per day

We are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Blackpool. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working Monday to Friday during term time. No formal teaching qualification is needed. Attitude matters more than paperwork.

About the Role:

You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff, helping pupils get the most out of every lesson. Full induction and ongoing training are provided, so this is a genuine route into education for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher with lessons, activities and classroom routines
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
• Helping to prepare resources and keep the classroom organised
• Encouraging positive behaviour and building pupils' confidence
• Supporting pupils at break, lunch and during transitions

Who We're Looking For:

No school experience is required. We welcome applications from people with backgrounds in childcare, nursery and early years, care and support work, youth work, sports coaching, retail and hospitality, as well as graduates and career changers looking for a first step into schools.
You must be:

• Reliable and genuinely keen to be in a classroom
• Patient and calm with young people
• Proactive and willing to use your initiative
• A strong communicator who works well as part of a team
• Holder of an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
