Job Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Leyland
Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £110 per day

About the Role:

You will support the class teacher across the school day, working with individuals and small groups who need a bit more help to keep up. Full induction and training are provided, so this is a real route into education for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom routines
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
• Helping pupils stay settled, focused and included
• Preparing resources and helping tidy the classroom
• Supervising at break and lunchtimes

What We Are Looking For:

• No formal teaching qualification required
• Experience with children from any setting, including childcare, care work, coaching, youth work or as a parent
• Patience and a calm manner
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one
• Reliability, because the class depends on you turning up

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
