Hi, I’m Sam!

I specialise in temporary appointments across the built environment sector, specifically working within trades and labour. I recruit for roles such as Carpenters, Plumbers and Multi Skilled Tradespeople, assisting local authorities and private organisations throughout the Midlands, North of England and South West England. 

Originally from Walsall, I started my career as an Electrician and it was only when I moved to Preston that I joined the wonderful world of recruitment. My time working as an Electrician has definitely helped my career in recruitment. It’s equipped me with an insight that allows me to develop great relationships with candidates. I can relate to them on a personal level, allowing me to provide a comprehensive service. 

If a local authority or private organisation has a particularly challenging role to recruit for, I use my contacts and knowledge of the market to match skilled tradesmen with rewarding opportunities. Our in-depth market knowledge even helped us win Best Public/Third Sector Recruitment Agency at the 2025 Recruiter Awards!

Outside of work, I’m a family man and when my young children aren’t keeping me busy, I’m normally playing some kind of sport, either football, cricket or golf. I'm also a big football fan but there are highs and lows to supporting West Ham (as you can imagine)!
