£650 per day
3-6 month initial contract

We are seeking an experienced Interim Assistant Director provide strategic and operational leadership with a South London Local Authority. This is a pivotal role for an experienced education professional who can operate confidently and lead complex services through change and build strong relationships across schools, partners and wider Children's Services.
Essential Requirements:
- Senior level education leadership experience within a Local Authority
- Strong knowledge of the statutory and regulatory framework covering SEND, inclusion, school admissions, school places, education provision and vulnerable pupils
- Demonstrable track record of turning strategy into operational delivery and measurable service improvement.
Duties include:
- Oversee SEND, Educational Psychology, Virtual School, inclusion, outreach and vulnerable pupil services
- Lead strategies to improve inclusion, attendance and outcomes while reducing exclusions
- Oversee budgets, financial performance, commissioning and external funding
