Are you experienced in SEND casework and looking for a role where you can make a real difference to children and young people? We are looking for an EHC Coordinator to join our Local Authority client in the East of England manage Education, Health and Care plans and ensure statutory processes are completed accurately and within required timescales within their Early Years team.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have worked within local Authority SEND for more than 3 years
- Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and the Children and families Act 2014
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met within statutory timescales
Duties include:
- Managing EHC assessments, plans and reviews from start to finish
- Attending and chairing meetings, annual reviews and panels where required
- Working collaboratively with professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND
