Post 16 EHCP Coordinator - Greater London
£308 per day
3-6 month initial contract
Hybrid working - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote
We are seeking a Post 16 EHCP Coordinator join our Local Authority client in Greater London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PFA coordinator to join a well established and supportive SEND Team and take the lead responsibility on EHC processes that contribute to young peoples lives.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of working with children and/or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their families
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) approach
- At least 3 years of Local Authority SEND experience
Duties include:
- Manage a caseload of 14-25 year olds, ensuring EHC Plan processes are coordinated effectively
- Coordinate preparing for adulthood transition planning to support young people
- Lead annual reviews and EHC needs assessment, drafting, review and finalisation processes
