Location: East Midlands
Rate: £400 Per day
Contract: 6 Months

Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for an interim Surveyor to support a public sector organisation with general practice surveying work across a varied property portfolio.

This role will suit someone comfortable working across landlord and tenant matters, valuations, disposals, and broader estates issues, with the ability to manage workstreams independently and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include

• Lease reviews and lease renewals
• Rent reviews
• Supporting progression activity related to local government reorganisation
• Asset valuations, including preparing valuations to tender
• Advising on land encroachment issues
• Disposals, including sale and auction support
• Industrial unit refurbishment project management
• General practice surveying support as required

About you

• Proven general practice surveying experience (ideally within a local authority or similar environment)
• Confident managing lease events, rent reviews, valuations, and disposals end to end
• Able to attend the office 1 day per week and work from home on Mondays
• Strong stakeholder management and clear written reporting
