Family Time Worker

I'm looking for a Family Time worker to join a Local Authority in Greater Manchester on an interim basis.

• £16.43 per hour PAYE
• Greater Manchester LA
• Hybrid working
• 3-6 month contract - Highly likely to be extended

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference through direct work with children, parents and families, helping to promote positive relationships, parenting capacity and better outcomes for children and young people

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Family Time sessions and other agreed interventions
• Contribute to risk assessments and safeguarding arrangements to protect children and young people from danger, harm and abuse
• Plan, deliver and accurately record interventions, contributing to assessments undertaken by social care teams.
• Deliver interventions that support parenting capacity, including work informed by the Framework for Action guidance
• Contribute to social care assessments, care plans and reviews

• Work alongside families in their own homes where appropriate, including in relation to child protection plans

You will be required to work flexibly and there is an expectation that early evenings and Saturday session will be a part of your caseload.
