PART-TIME SCHOOL CARETAKER - TEMPORARY COVER

£18-£19 per hour
7:00am-12:00pm, Monday-Friday

Temporary Cover

We are looking for a reliable, practical and conscientious School Caretaker to provide temporary cover at a school in Alsager, Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, clean and welcoming school environment and enjoys working as part of a friendly school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school premises
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the school site is clean, safe and well maintained
• Setting up and moving furniture and equipment when required
• Carrying out routine checks of the buildings and grounds
• Liaising with school staff and contractors
• Responding to day-to-day site issues

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Practical and able to carry out basic maintenance
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently
• Friendly and professional
• Experienced in a caretaking, maintenance or facilities role (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
