We are looking for a SEN Classroom Support Specialist to join a welcoming and inclusive educational setting, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and personally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEN professional who wants to take their next step in a rewarding career within education.

About the Role
As a SEN Classroom Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers and wider support teams to provide tailored support to pupils throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
  • Supporting learners to access the curriculum and develop their confidence.
  • Helping pupils develop their communication, social and emotional skills.
  • Implementing individual learning and support strategies.
  • Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging independence.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals.
  • Creating a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Celebrating pupil progress and helping learners overcome barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
