£286 per day

Contract until 31/12/2026

We are looking for an experienced SEND Officer to join our Local Authority client in the East Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for SEND professional to join a well-established and growing SEND Team. The role will initially focus on drafting, issuing and finalising EHC assessments, alongside managing more complex casework. Experience using the Idox EHC Hub would be highly desirable.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience managing a caseload of EHC assessments and/or Annual Reviews
• Strong knowledge and understanding of up to date SEND legislation and Code of Conduct
• Minimum of 2 years experience working within Local Authority SEND Team

Duties include:

• Manage a caseload of EHC assessments from initial assessment through to completion
• Liaise effectively with parents, young people, schools, colleges and other professionals
• Ensure cases are progressed in line with statutory requirements and local authority procedures
