Hybrid working - 1-2 days in the office per week
We are seeking a confident and experienced SEND Service Manager/Service Lead to provide both operational and strategic leadership, ensuring the effective delivery of statutory SEND functions and high-quality outcomes for children, young people and their families for our Local Authority client in the South East.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have experience working within Local Authority SEND in a leadership position
- Extensive knowledge of SEND legislation, statutory duties and the SEND Code of Practice
- Strong understanding of Ofsted/CQC inspection frameworks, preparation and improvement activity
Duties include:
- Ensuring statutory SEND duties and legal requirements are consistently met.
- Driving service improvement and supporting the delivery of agreed improvement plans
- Leading Ofsted/CQC inspection readiness and responding to areas identified for improvement
- Identifying service risks and implementing effective solutions to improve outcomes
