Teacher of Maths

Spencer Clarke Group are currently working with a secondary school who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to secure a long-term position within a supportive school environment.

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting students to achieve their academic potential.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress.
• Working collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
• Has strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
• Can build positive relationships with students.
• Has excellent classroom management skills.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting pupils.
• Is able to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
