We are recruiting for an Early Help Worker to support children, young people, and families across the Seaforth area.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive difference, helping families build resilience, improve outcomes, and access the right support at the right time.
Working within a multi-agency environment, you will deliver targeted interventions, coordinate support plans, and empower families to achieve lasting positive change.

As an Early Help Worker, you will manage a caseload of children and families, carrying out assessments, identifying support needs, and delivering practical interventions. You will work closely with partner agencies, schools, health professionals, and community services to ensure families receive coordinated and effective support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload and deliver strengths-based, solution-focused support to families.
  • Complete Early Help Assessments and identify any risks, vulnerabilities, or safeguarding concerns.
  • Deliver one-to-one and group interventions tailored to the needs of children, young people, and families.
  • Develop and coordinate support plans, working alongside families and partner agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records, case notes, assessments, reviews, and outcomes using relevant systems.

Key requirements:

  • Experience working with children, young people, and families in a support, education, social care, or community setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and experience identifying and responding to concerns. Strong assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload, and carry out home visits.
  • Experience working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to improve outcomes for families.


Contract Length: 3-6 months with expectation of an extension
Pay Rate: £17.00 + per hour
Working pattern - 37 hours per week.
