My Local Authority client in Yorkshire is looking to appoint a talented Service Manager for Children's Joint Commissioning & Quality (Health) on a Permanent basis.

The role will work as a system leader to connect health, education and care providers to deliver a streamlined offer of support to meet the needs of children and young people and deliver better outcomes through creative commissioning opportunities.

About the role:

Based in Yorkshire (Hybrid - 2-3 days on site):

  • Develop and design innovative service offers through collaboration and co-production that includes professionals, parents, children and young people and corporate colleagues

  • Lead transformation programmes of work that rely on a system-approach and joint commissioning to design and deliver shared pathways in response to national policy directives and local need.
  • Lead the development of local strategic partnerships including the Wakefield Children's Alliance, Local Authority SEND Teams, Education Clusters, and providers of health services including primary care and VSCE providers.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

  • Significant experience in integrated/joint commissioning, from either a Local Authority or Health Service/ICB perspective.
  • Proven track record of managing complex service transformation and improvement programmes
  • Ability to engage with and navigate senior stakeholders, including Elected Members.
  • Demonstrable experience of meaningful partnership working, including Local Authorities, the Health Service and the VCS.

  • Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
